CHURCH-WIDE PICNIC

& BAPTISM IN THE BAY

 

 

Following the morning worship services our members are invited to meet at Blue Angel Recreational Park for our

Picnic and Baptism in the Bay beginning at 1:00pm.  

 

 

The menu will be hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings along with drinks.  

 

 

The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 10 years old and under.  

 

RSVP forms are located at the info table in the main foyer. Make checks payable to MGBC and write "PICNIC" on the memo line.  

 

You may drop off your checks along with your registration forms at the church office to the attention of Cami Simmons, Financial Secretary.  

 

 

 The park entrance fee has been paid. Directional maps to the Blue Angel Recreational Park will be available at the info counter on Sunday, October 19.

 

 

Ladies Barn Meeting  - Oct 18th. . .

 

 

Enjoy a FREE steak dinner with all the trimmings. Tammy Whitehurst will speak from her heart about her life experiences.

pumpkin Fall Family Fesitval
is just around the corner.

On Friday, October 31st from 6:00 - 8:00pm, our church will once again offer the children of the Myrtle Grove and surrounding communities an alternative to trick-or-treat.


We need your help in making this a special event for these children.

Individually wrapped candy donations are needed.

Boxes have been placed in the church office and the FLC.

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading Registration: Registration is now open for boys and girls, grades K through 6, to be a part of our Upward Basketball & Cheerleading season.

 Registration fee is only $65 ($75 after November 3rd.)

Registration forms are available on the Upward table in the foyer.

If you would like to provide a scholarship for a child, please see Ron Pouliot.

Fellowship Hall. New members and those interested in membership are encouraged to attend this class led by Pastor Ron. A light supper and childcare are provided. To sign up, write "Pastor's Class" and your name and telephone number on the Welcome Tab attached to this bulletin.

If you have a child who is struggling in reading and/or math, please contact Jane Bonelli or the church office for an application. We are also in need of tutors for all grade levels. Please consider investing in a

child's education to help him/her experience success.
