We begin our September Stewardship Focus entitled,  

"Is He (Jesus) Worth It?"

Throughout the month of September the pastor will be preaching on the total stewardship of our lives.  

This will include the use of our time, talents, resources (financial and other) and our lives and the lives of our family members. 

Don't miss any of these exciting and challenging messages.  

In addition, there will also be a church-wide challenge to increase our giving in every area of our lives.  

Pray to God to touch your heart during these weeks and then be obedient to follow His leading.

PARENT/CHILD DEDICATION

If you have children you would like to dedicate, please call the church office and provide names of the children as well as parents' names.

Due to some cancelations we have a few seats available on the bus for the trip to Branson, Missouri in October, so if you are interested in going please contact Ken/Becky for the details.  

You do not have to be a member of the Keenagers or our church to go on this trip.  

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014, 10:00 A. M. in the fellowship hall.

Mr. John Appleyard will be our speaker; he will be giving another one of his interesting historical stories.

Also, lunch will be provided by Chet's Seafood.  

We request that you pay $10.00 per person toward the total of $14.00 per person we are charged.

Building from a biblical foundation, we will receive practical instruction for each stage of life.

ACTEENS:All girls in grades 7-12 and their mothers are invited to a tea on Sunday, September 7, at 3pm in the church fellowship hall to learn about the Acteens group starting this fall. Don't miss this great opportunity.

Youth Car Wash for Camp Fundraising

Date: Sept. 13, 2014 - Time: 9 am to 12 pm

Location: Front parking lot of church

Be a part: Pray for the youth, serve that morning with us, and/or get your vehicle washed.  

Every summer, the youth ministry attempts to take many students with us to Summer Camp.  

At camp, many students renew their faith in Christ, find faith in Christ, meet friends, get refreshed and ready for the new year, and have other positive results as well.

In order for several students to even go, they need financial assistance.

We want to start raising money for the Camp Assistance fund NOW before the new year approaches and summer shortly after it.  

Fundraisers, like this car wash, serve as great ways for students to contribute and serve while also raising needed finances for students to  attend camp.  

Please, pray about how God would make you part of the youth fundraising efforts whether its through prayer for our youth, financial assistance, and/or service along side us.
