A Special Tribute

to All Veterans . . .

On this Memorial Day weekend we honor all those who have served our country in defending our freedoms; those who have gone home to be with the Lord; those still with us; and those who are currently actively serving in the military. We are privileged to honor one of our own members, Sgt. Maj.Bill Braddock USMC (RET.), who is one of the last Pearl Harbor survivors here in Escambia County. CREATING MEMORIALS

Leaving a Legacy

 Joshua 3:12-17 & Joshua 4:14-24

What are ways that the local church can create memorials; ways that we can pass on a godly heritage to our children.

The answer:

  • We must tell our stories.

  • We must finish our race well.

First: Tell the stories.

Our continued faithfulness as a church body will create stories and memories that will live on long after we are gone.

Secondly: We must finish our race well.

 II Timothy 4:6-8

A life poured out for God is our greatest offering.

 II Timothy 4:6 (only)

Listen to the words of Jesus.
