HOMECOMING DAY

Next Sunday, April 27, will mark the 84th anniversary of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church

We will celebrate that day by . . .

Baptism

We will baptize in both the 9:15am and 10:30am worship services. We rejoice with those who have recently placed their faith in the Lord Jesus. We will celebrate the new life they have found in Jesus Christ through the powerful symbol of baptism.

Homecoming Dinner

Following our worship services we will all gather in the Family Life Center for a good old fashioned dinner on the grounds. For our Myrtle Grove family members -

What you need to bring:

Each family is asked to bring enough food for your family and extra for guests. Suggested dishes are salads of all kinds, vegetables, potato dishes, spaghetti, ham, and other meat dishes, fruit, and desserts. Please label your dishes with your name and drop them off at the Family Life Center as you arrive for services. To supplement your dishes, fried chicken, along with baked beans, rolls, and drinks will be provided by the church.

Following the dinner there will be games and activities for the whole family on our new property (weather permitting).

A Word From Our Student Minister . . .

Like every year, our students are gearing up for a life-changing Missions Camp this Summer, and like every year, most of them cannot afford the $350 it costs to send them there. As a church, we are responsible for the spiritual engagement of our students and are asking each other to help support them financially for this cause. If you feel God leading you to do so, see the basket in the hallway of the sanctuary, fill an envelope with the amount you'd like to donate, and place the envelope in the offering plate. Thank you so much for investing in our students and making a missional impact in our world for God's glory!
