IMB MISSIONARIES TO SPEAK AT OUR CHURCH

Coming up next Sunday, December 1

, in both of our morning worship services and in our evening service,  two retired missionary couples from Africa will be our guest speakers, as we kick off our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering emphasis.  Both of these couples are retired career missionaries who worked with the International Mission Board for well over three decades.  Most of that time was spent in Africa.  Our pastor had the privilege of visiting the very places where these missionaries served and raised their families.

UPWARD Basketball Coaches Training:  Upcoming coaches training sessions are scheduled for Monday, December 2nd, and Tuesday, December 3rd.  These sessions will begin at 6:00pm in the FLC and last for approximately one hour.  We still need coaches!  All coaches, new and returning, are required to attend one session.  See Ron Pouliot if you have any questions or need any additional information.

NOVEMBER TOY OF THE MONTH:

Please donate a new toy of your choice to the CSM Christmas Gift Ministry.  Also, large gift bags are needed.

A Note to ladies working on the Uganda Mission Project:

Please bring the pillowcase dresses which you have finished to the church office.  Rhonda Pouliot will deliver them to the church in Huntsville in December.

The backpack food program

for the elementary school kids now has an official name and website. The official name approved by the state is Food 4 Kids Emerald Coast. The website is www.food4kidsemeraldcoast.com.  (Please visit it.)  The reason for the name change is because there is another facility in Florida with the same name, For Kids Only.

Thank you, Roland Koomen

We ran an "ad" for volunteers last week ...but we decided to do it again.

Know what that means?
There was no response.
