Today . . . is our Celebration Sunday.  

This morning we join thousands of churches throughout the nation in celebrating what God has done through the Billy Graham outreach effort. 

 

Also today, we join in the celebration of baptism for several new members being added to our fellowship.  TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

 

In addition, we recognize our VETERANS.  On behalf of Veterans Day, we take this morning to honor the veterans of our church.  We thank each one of our vets for their service in defending our country.  May God bless each one of you on this very special day.

 

THANK YOU to Lorna Browning and her crew for the delicious meal that they prepared for our church-wide banquet last Sunday night.  We were blessed, not only with physical food, but also spiritually through inspiring testimonies that were given in the Worship Center following the meal.  TO GO BE THE GLORY!

 

Pray for our pastor as he will be leaving this afternoon for the Florida Baptist Convention.  The convention will be held in Jacksonville, Florida, this year.  Our pastor will bring a report next Sunday morning.

You are encouraged to pick up a copy today if you did not get one last week.   

 

Also, you can view the proposed budget online.  (the file is in pdf format) 

 

If you missed the question and answer session on Wednesday and have any questions concerning the budget, please contact our Church Administrator, Chris Larsen, at the church office.  

 

The vote on the proposed budget will take place at the regular scheduled business meeting on Wednesday, November 20.  

 

That vote will be taken by secret ballot.

Sweet Hour of Prayer

Join our Pastor and friends on Tuesdays, 6am-7am for an hour of prayer . . .  praying for our church and America.

 may be accessed on our church website.  Please join others in praying for the needs of our church and nation.

   

 

 

A Sunday School teacher is needed for the four and five year old class during the 9:15am Sunday School hour.  The teacher is only needed for one hour every Sunday morning.  If you are interested in volunteering every Sunday, please see Chris Larsen or Rachel Yeargain.

 

 

 

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading:  Come and be a part of our Upward Team.  Upward is not just a sports league.  It is a sports ministry!  We have a place for you!  Directors, coaches, assistant coaches, referees, time keepers, concession workers, and prayer partners are needed.  See Ron Pouliot to volunteer.

 

 

NOVEMBER TOY OF THE MONTH:

 

Please donate a new toy of your choice to the CSM Christmas Gift Ministry.  Also, large gift bags are needed.  DONATE GENEROUSLY!

 

 

MGBC TUTORING MINISTRY:  Math tutors are needed for students in elementary through high school.  Please contact Jane Bonelli  if you are interested.

    

 

 

 

INTERNATIONAL MISSION STUDY:  PERU

to be held in Fellowship Hall on Thursday, November 21.  Potluck supper is at 6pm and study to begin at 6:30pm.  Children will meet with Rachel Yeargain in Room 201 after supper.   

   

 

 

              

                                 

 

 

Sweet Spirits (Widows) . . .Keep this date reserved for Sweet Spirits Christmas Luncheon - Friday, December 6 @ 11am.  You don't want to miss this luncheon.  You will hear more about it later.

 

 

 

Billy Graham Outreach Host Homes

THANK YOU to those who opened their home to host the Billy Graham movie, "The Cross."  Please turn in the Decision Forms to the church office this week for all who made decisions at your home.
