During the month of October the pastor's messages will focus on Financial Stewardship.  Our focus today is on "Unlocking the Door to a Prosperous Life."

Pastor's "Introduction to Church Membership" Class meets today at 4pm in the Fellowship Hall.  This class is for new members as well as anyone who is interested in church membership.  A light supper and childcare are provided at no cost.  To register, sign on the blank lines on the Welcome Tab on the bulletin.  Tear off and give to Pastor Ron as you leave the worship service today.

KEENAGERS:   Our next meeting will be Tuesday, November 5th, at 10am in the fellowship hall.

 

The Waterfront Rescue mission does a great job for many down and our people in our area.  This month our speaker will inform us about their mission.

 

Please bring something (food item) that will go with a Thanksgiving dinner. 

 

 

If you have not ever attended a "Keenagers" meeting we would like for you to be our special guest.

Family Life Center

 

A video presentation will highlight the ministries of our church.

 

We will hear testimonies of men and women who have been reached for Christ through these ministries.

 

The 2014 proposed church budget will be presented.

 

A carefully designed church-wide survey will be distributed.

 

The purpose of this survey is to assist our leadership in developing ways that we can become more effective for the kingdom work.

   

 

 

Please use the RSVP form located at the Welcome Desk or call the church office for banquet reservations.

 

 

 

  Meal cost will be by donation.

We need youth and adults to assist for activities and games with children.   

The church bus will leave around 8:30am and return early evening.  Those riding the bus will be asked to donate $8 for gas expenses.

FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL:  It's just around the corner.

 

 

 

On Thursday, October 31st from 6:00 - 8:00pm, our church will once again offer the children of the Myrtle Grove and surrounding communities an alternative to trick-or-treat.

   

 

 

We need your help in making this a special event for these children.

 

 

 

Individually wrapped candy donations are needed.  Boxes have been placed in the church office and the FLC. 

 
PreSchool Center News
Belk Charity Sale November 9 from 6am to 10am. Entrance to sale by ticket only. Tickets available at PLC or see Mary Ann Winstead on Sunday mornings following each worship service in the church office. Cost of tickets is $5 each and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to remodeling the PLC playgrounds.
