          Men's Gathering - The men from Point Baptist Church will join our men.  Pastor Tim Coleman will bring the message for the evening.

 

Sunday, October 27 @ 6pm

 

          Perdido Baptist Church members will join us for a combined worship service.  Their pastor will bring the message and their choir will provide special music.

Fall Festival - FLC 

 

 

 

 

 

CHURCH-WIDE BANQUET

 

Sunday, November 3 @ 6pm

Family Life Center

 

A video presentation will highlight the ministries of our church.

We will hear testimonies of men and women who have been reached for Christ through these ministries.

 

The 2014 proposed church budget will be presented.

 

A carefully designed church-wide survey will be distributed.  The purpose of this survey is to assist our leadership in developing ways that we can become more effective for the kingdom work.

   

 

 

A sign-up form for banquet reservations will be available in the weeks ahead.

 

 

 

Banquet cost will be by donation.

 

 


 

 

 

Next Sunday, October 20 @ 6pm . . .

Deacon Ordination/

Yokefellow Commissioning

 

Ordination of new deacons and commissioning of new yokefellows will take place during our evening service.  

 

We encourage our church family to come out and support these men as they begin their new ministry for the Lord.

is just around the corner.

On Thursday, October 31st from 6:00 - 8:00pm, our church will once again offer the children of the Myrtle Grove and surrounding communities an alternative to trick-or-treat.

We need your help in making this a special event for these children.
Individually wrapped candy donations are needed.

Boxes have been placed in the church office and the FLC. 

 

 

 

The Tutoring Ministry has begun.

Preschool Learning Center News . . .

Belk Charity Sale November 9 from 6am to 10am. Entrance to sale by ticket only. Tickets available at PLC or see Mary Ann Winstead on Sunday mornings following each worship service in the church office. Cost of tickets is $5 each and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to remodeling the PLC playgrounds. 

 

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading:  Come and be a part of our Upward Team.  Upward is not just a sports league.  It is a sports ministry!  We have a place for you!  Directors, coaches, assistant coaches, referees, time keepers, concession workers, and prayer partners are needed.  See Ron Pouliot to volunteer.
