International Mission Focus

Today in both morning worship services, Mark Schmidt will give his testimony of God's call on his life.  Tonight during our evening service Mark and his family will give a presentation about their current mission work in Guatemala.  The Schmidt family moved to Guatemala in 2009 and began serving in Buena Vista.  Their eyes were opened to the poverty that exists and to the poor education system.  Mark says, "Our family's vision is to train the future men and women who will lead Buena Vista - spiritually, mentally and physically."

This will be a question and answer session concerning the proposed Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Policies and Procedures Manual.  A secret ballot vote will be taken at the regular business meeting on Wednesday, August 21.  Copies are available on the info counter in the foyer.

Will You Help Share the Love of Jesus?

School will soon be back in session and many of our area children will need help in obtaining their school supplies.  As in previous years, we are now collecting school supplies to be given to our Partners in Education @ at Myrtle Grove & Sherwood Elementary Schools.  A list of the needed supplies is available at the Welcome Desk.

Family Outing:  MGBC Children's Ministry invites you to join us for an end of summer family outing at Sam's Surf City on Saturday, August 10th.  Flyers are located in the Sunday School Departments and on the welcome desk in the worship center foyer.  Deadline to sign up and pay is Sunday, August 4th.  See Ron Pouliot for more information.
