Today . . .
MGBC Homecoming/83rd Anniversary
and
GREAT DAY OF GIVING
For our 2013 General Budget
In honor of our 83 years as a local church, let's express our gratitude to God for our church ministry by giving generously beyond the tithe for the support of our general ministry budget. This extra giving will enable us to reach our budget goals and objectives for our 2013 ministry year. Please pray about an extra financial sacrifice God would have you to give to your church.
(A challenge to tithers to give beyond their regular tithes and a challenge to those who do not to begin tithing on this Great Day of Giving.)

TODAY'S SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOLLOWING MORNING WORSHIP
First, members are encouraged to exit the sanctuary to the rear exits leading out to the church foyer area. As you exit out, turn to the right and follow the arrows down the two hallways leading to the church Fellowship Hall. There will be four serving lines in the Fellowship Hall. Once you receive your food you may exit out the back doors leading to the new property. Tables and chairs will be set up under the two large tents where you can enjoy your food. For senior adults who have trouble walking, there will be a shuttle available to drive you to the tent area.
Secondly, following lunch there will be music shared by adults and children from the stage area along with a variety of fun and recreational activities for the entire family. Please stay and enjoy the fun and fellowship as we celebrate our 83rd Anniversary.

All... an update on the FKO "For Kids Only" outreach.
After a meeting with the Superintendent of Escambia County Schools, Malcolm Thomas, he gave a clear "thumbs-up" to fully pursue this outreach county wide. This calling has truly become God-sized, as Pastor Ron refers to it. But as you know, When Almighty God is in it, failing is NOT an option! Even though the school year is coming to a close, we cannot sit idle. I'm working on a summer program to help "our kids" through the summer. Input from my church family would help. In the meantime, keep the backpack foods and donations coming. There is additional information. , text or call.
Thanks,
Roland Kooman
