The Kirkwood Arts Commission is working to develop a Public Art Plan for Kirkwood.  Agnes Garino is leading this effort, but she needs volunteers to staff a sub-committee and to get this project rolling.  Here is what's involved:

One of the duties and responsibilities of the Kirkwood Arts Commission as stated in the ordinance is: "Develop guidelines for and sponsor public arts projects."  The Commission has selected public art as one of its priorities, but volunteers are needed.  Both Kirkwood residents and nonresidents who are interested in public art are invited and encouraged to participate.
