HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!  February is American Heart Health Month.  According to the Heart Health Month CDC: "Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women, but heart disease is preventable and controllable."  For more information, visit their Website.

It's supposed to get cold again on Friday and stay that way all weekend, which is even worse news if you're headed to Chicago, as I am for the weekend.  They don't call it the Windy City for nothin'!  In St. Louis: Flurries on Friday and a high of 35 on Saturday.  Brrrrr...

A GREAT way to get out of the cold is to check out the Gem and Mineral Show this weekend at the Community Center.  I'm going to miss it, but I understand it's a lot of fun.  See information above for times and cost.

Don't forget that City offices are closed on Monday!  (NO CHANGE to sanitation routes.)  Have a good weekend, stay warm, and see you next Thursday!
