Be Different
By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:35
What is different about a Christ-follower? Sometimes nothing... and sometimes everything. The same sin that burdens and snares is a plague to us all. The same forgiveness won on the cross is free to all through faith in Christ Jesus. The joyful response; loving sacrificially; being imitators of God, walking in love as Christ loved us...that is how we are called to be different.
Dear Jesus, I can't meet your standard for love. I fail in nearly every relationship every day. Forgive my self-centered concerns. Help me set my eyes on you, and show me where to serve others today. A-men
