Morning Darkness

Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have just caught." So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, 153 of them.
~ John 21:10-11

A quiet night fishing turns into an unexpected surprise. A blur in the morning darkness gives a command, and when followed, results in ridiculous blessing. When Peter recognizes the miracle-giver, he throws himself into the sea and swims to the feet of Jesus, and is served again by the Master. In the darkness of daily life, listen for the call of Christ Jesus. His commands are the words of eternal life!

Dear Jesus,
On my own, the nets are empty. Lead me, as you led the disciples. Feed me, that I may be prepared to serve in your name. Bless me, so I may be a blessing to others.
A-men.
