Capstone
"The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone." ~ Luke 20:17
The rulers of Jesus' day discarded His teaching, His work, and His person. The Father confounded all human wisdom with His own divine wisdom. Jesus is now the crown of God's plan of salvation. He will suffer. He will die. He will be the capstone, the final element, completing the salvation rebellious humanity so desperately needs. And every eye will see that capstone as the crown of God's saving activity. All glory, laud, and honor, to Thee Redeemer, King!
Dearest Jesus, move us to look up to You as Him Who completes everything for us. Amen.
