December 21 was a great day from my perspective. At 10:48 PM CST, winter arrived in 2015. Some call it winter solstice - an astronomical phenomenon marking the shortest day and the longest night of the year. What it means is that for the next half year there will be more light from day-to-day until summer comes in June. I love the light, especially during the evening time. The reality is that the day time remains the same and we will enjoy more light as time moves forward.
