Blameless

May He strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all His holy angels.
I Thess 3:13

There is no human being without blame. We are all sinners!  So how is Paul's Spirit-inspired directive possible? Only through a Spirit-given faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. We live as saint and sinner. We live with the tension. We also live with the wonderful assurance that God sees us as blameless and holy since we are covered with Jesus because of our Trinitarian Baptism. Come, Lord Jesus. We are ready to stand blameless and holy in You.

Gracious God and Father:  The demands for perfection scare the sinner in each of us.  While the fear may exist, the comfort of Your Son's cross-established salvation comforts us.  Keep our Spirit-given faith in Him strong and firmly focused on His work for us that we are enabled to live daily, waiting for His return and the judgment of all flesh.  In Jesus' name.  Amen
