|  | | Good Bye Trego, Hello CUW
The MNS and NWD partnership for Trego has ended. While we still love each other and rejoice in the memories and growth that took place over the years, it is time to move on. MNS has a great public school conference around the same time, and NWD has a new partnership with CUW that can bring more of us together for an inexpensive day of fellowship and collaborative growth around best practice topics. Watch for more.

The NWD BOD approved the 2016 budget, which included a reduction of anticipated income of $100,000 to meet the current giving realities from NWD congregations. New legal challenges are arising over busing in the state of WI. When something gets given to parochial schools, like vouchers, there are those who want to get something back. WCRIS is active in working for resolution that supports private schools. Stay tuned for more information.
| | | |  | | Hearts For Jesus
Hearts for Jesus this school year will again be held during the month of February. After a national event in 2014 and an international event in 2015, this year the event will be local, in our North Wisconsin District. Peace Campus Center is a campus ministry to the students attending UW-St. Point. Pastor Andy Weden leads the ministry and is currently involved in a special project to expand the outreach of Peace Campus Center. Watch for details coming soon.
