Like a Child
People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
Mark 10:13-14
The grace of God is for all people, even children. People used to think children were not very important. How far have we come, spending what seems to be incalculable amounts of time, money and energy for our kids to have it all. Yet when it comes to teaching the absolute truth of God's Word, we stand in the way and deny access to learning about all things Jesus. The kingdom of God belongs to such as these!
Dear Jesus,
I want the best of everything for the children I know. Help me share your love, your teachings, your truth with those I influence. Pour your grace upon our kids and our country.
