NWD Student Grants This summer the NWD granted over $97,000 to college and seminary students working towards a career in professional church work. Those dollars came from people in the NWD, people with a heart for developing the future leaders of our church and our world. A current student sent us this note in a thank you, "As I approached this chapter of my life the substantial cost of education was a daunting and seemingly impossible task. I worried and struggled but found peace in the Lord. (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is through your generous grant that I have been given the blessings to attend college."~ Jarod F. Contact President Lueck at your District Resources building if you would like to contribute to this meaningful scholarship program.

Concordia University Irvine DCE Program
Is your congregation considering adding staffing in the area of children's, youth or family ministry? Why not consider adding a DCE Intern to your staff for the 2016-2017 school year? Check out information on applying for an intern at www.cui.edu/dceinternship. If you or a member of your staff is serving a related ministry area and live outside of Orange County, CA, you might wish to certify through distance learning. Information on that program can be found at www.cui.edu/dcecertification.
