Shepherd-less
When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And he began to teach them many things.
Mark 6:34
I am not sure what sheep without a shepherd look like, but my guess is distracted and wandering. Add a little fear or anxiety and I would guess things get more chaotic. And so it is with people. 5000 men plus their families gathered in a remote area to be led. Jesus met the spiritual needs of the five thousand, then also met the physical needs. That is leadership we can follow.
Dear Jesus,
I wander through this life and trip over my good intentions. I need your leadership. Thank you for providing all my physical and spiritual needs. Help me to share your riches with others.
