 Young Investors Website Launched!
On May 1st, LCEF launched a new Y.I. Club Online Activity Center: yiclub.lcef.org. Each group- Little Lambs, Mission Builders and World Changers has it's own age-appropriate activites including games, devotions, coloring-pages and stories/links to servant events for the older age groups. The website will be updated regularly to keep Y.I. Club members engaged and entertained. Explore the site, have some fun and share it with others!
 Congratulations Micaela Haas!
Micaela is the first of four 2015 North Wisconsin District LCEF $1,000 scholarship winners. She is an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Colby and a current student at the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. In his letter of recommendation for Micaela, her pastor at Zion, Rev. M.G. Neumann wrote, "Micaela was a very shy person until a life-changing event happened in her family. Her brother, Grant, was diagnosed with cancer five years ago. I have seen other young people go through difficult family situations, and make poor choices to ease their pain. But Micaela has stepped forward and become a positive role model in our community..."  VisionPath

>If your ministry did not exist, should it be started?

>What is the most important thing you want the community to know about your ministry?

>What is the greatest opportunity facing your congregation?

>What is the greatest point of connection between us and our community?

St. John High Steeple, Edgar, Wisconsin hosted the VisionPath experience on April 11, 2015. Approximately 25 people attended the Saturday session at this small, rural congregation. VisionPath is a one-time, half day event at your Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) church or school. Your leadership and members will be guided by a trained Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) facilitator. Your members will focus on the questions above. To read more about St. John's experience, visit www.lcefuppermidwest.org.

Two Schools Win Y.I. Challenge in the NWD!
Trinity Lutheran School, Athens, was a repeat champ in the North Wisconsin District LCEF Y.I. Challenge. "Trinity's Y.I. Challenge $1,000 check will go 10% to church, another 10% to chapel and then $200 to purchase a square of shingles for reroofing the parsonage," said Y.I. Stamp Coordinator Darlene (Dee) Strack. "How the remaining funds will be used will be decided by our oldest students Abby Van Ryel and Cameron Ford, along with Principal Dean Frick." The competition was so close this year that Zion of Wayside Lutheran School, Greenelaf, earned a second place finish award of $500. Visit lcef.org for more information on the Young Investors Club.
