I give up soda for one day, order salad instead of fries, and leave the television off for 24 hours. Sacrifice. Occasionally I get serious about sacrifice, like shopping with my wife or listening to my child's music. Eventually I decide I have sacrificed enough and life is all about me again. Thanks be to God that His Son Jesus took the idea of sacrifice seriously. Out of His love, His sacrifice, we are saved!
