God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Psalm 46:1

I scratch and claw to plan my days and live my life. The same mess continues to blanket my efforts. Failing becomes the norm. But there is One who is greater than my failings, who has conquered the grip of sin. He is my Shelter, my Protection, my Sanctuary. The God of Jacob is our Fortress.

Dear Jesus,

You reign where trouble attempts to rule. Rescue me. Be my shelter. Reform my thinking. Allow me to rest in your grace and holy protection.
