If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained a brother.

Thousands of books have been written on managing conflict, thousands more on managing emotions. I must set my heart on something, someone, greater than my feelings of anxious anger and destructive payback. Rest in the grace of the Lord Jesus, who can renew my focus to restore a relationship.
Dear Jesus,
I wrestle with hurt and anger. Destroy my sinful vengeance and fill me with your grace, that I may love my brother and approach them with grace-filled humility.
