David Mellem
David Mellem donated his time and talent to present two Tax Workshops for Rostered Church Workers this past winter. The workshops were held at the District Office in Wausau and Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Green Bay. David has a passion for his work, which is evidenced in his enthusiasm and ability to keep a difficult subject interesting. He is a nationally known speaker at tax seminars and a reference/writer for journalists (money.cnn.com, TaxTalkToday) and has appeared on the Today Show on a professional panel. Nathan Toenjes is the third and final 2014 North Wisconsin District Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) $1,000 Scholarship winner. A member of Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran Church in Green Bay, Wis., Toenjes is a graduating senior from Northeastern Wisconsin (NEW) Lutheran High School in Green Bay and plans to enroll at Concordia University, Nebraska in the fall.
