Medicare- Opt In/Opt Out
|
|
The SCDA has published many articles regarding Medicare and the requirement of dentists to either opt in or opt out. In case you haven't heard, a one year delay until June 1, 2016 has been put in place regarding this requirement. The ADA and State Associations continue to work and seek a repeal of the requirement for dentists. The SCDA will continue to keep the membership aware of this subject.

Medicaid Revalidation
|
|
There is a requirement that many dentists will need to revalidate their information regarding Medicaid. If you are one of the dentists that will need to revalidate, a notification letter was sent to you on June 3, 2015. Those letters included a unique revalidation code that you can use online. The process should only take few minutes and there is no fee. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the Provider Service Center at 888-289-0709.
