SCDA Annual Awards Nomination Form | |
It is not too late to make your nominations for the SCDA Awards. The Nomination Form has already been mailed and is also posted on the SCDA website. These awards are given annually during the SCDA Annual Convention. Please consider anyone who may fit one of the categories and nominate them for the award. Dental Assistants CE Class | |
The South Carolina Dental Assistants are sponsoring a continuing education class titled The Top Coding Errors and The New CDT 13 Updates. The course will be taught by Dr. Charles Blair on January 19, 2013 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. It will be held at Greenville Technical College Main Campus, J. Verne Smith Auditorium, Building 102. SCDA Leadership Program Opportunity | |
The 2013 SC Dental Association Leadership Program will be held on Friday, January 25th at the Columbia Conference Center and you are cordially invited to attend. The program will begin at 9:00 am.
Our keynote speaker for this morning event will be Mr. Michael Dunn of Dunn Associates. Mr. Dunn is a government relations expert with over 30 years experience and he'll explore with attendees the important role that individual dentists play in the political impact of the profession and discuss grassroots techniques that will empower dentistry to win in the legislature. SCDA Annual Convention | |
It is time again to make plans to attend the upcoming SCDA annual convention. We will return to Kingston Plantation for this year's meeting and the Convention Committee, along with President Edmonds, has planned an outstanding program. Towards the end of the month you will be receiving your program brochure in the mail. You can go ahead and check out the website, www.scdaannualsession.com which lists all of the details and events for the meeting as well as information on booking your hotel accommodations.
As part of the Convention, the SCDA Foundation will be holding its Silent Auction again. This continues to be a highlight event and the Chair of the Foundation, Dr. Mona Ellis, urges everyone who may have relationships with hotels, beach houses, art galleries, colleges and universities, to please work with those relationships and obtain items for the auction. You may contact her or Phil Latham at the SCDA with questions.
Also, as part of the annual convention, please note that the House of Delegates meeting will be held on Thursday, May 2nd at 7:00 am. The agenda and other documents will be posted on the SCDA website later on. Make plans now to be there. |
