Ohio Senior Olympics Welcomes Senior Games
Back to Central Ohio

Central Ohio athletes will have Senior Games nearby for the first time in a couple of years. The City of Westerville has been designated as the organizing and operating entity for the Central Ohio Senior Games.
The 2013 games will include:
Pickleball- May 17 and 18
Billiards- June 11
Corn Hole- June 13
Golf- June 14
Swimming- June 16
Track and Field- June 17
Table Tennis- June 20
The games will kick off with an Opening Ceremony on Sunday, June 9. The event will include registration and t-shirt pick-up, basketball foul shot, softball and football throwing competitions for all athletes registered for the 2013 competition. At the conclusion of the competition, there will be an awards ceremony, cookout dinner and band performance.
The Central Ohio games will also include a "Silver Arts" competition, featuring visual arts (painting, drawing, quilting, pottery, wood working, stained glass, jewelry, knitting and stone carving) and performing arts (solo acts only).

16 Days Left to Register for Nationals

May 1, 2013 is the deadline to register for the 2013 National Senior Games in Cleveland. Be sure to join us as Cleveland rocks the Senior Games! This is your chance to compete at the National Senior Games in their first appearance in Ohio! Don't delay- register today! Athletes who qualified during the 2012 qualifying cycle are invited to participate in the games. Start the registration process on the National Senior Games Association web site. Regular registration concludes May 1 (on-line registration fee $165). The NSGA web site includes all the information you could need about the 2013 games, including schedules for competition, maps and venue information, lodging, special event information and more!

Ohio Senior Olympics promotes healthy lifestyles for seniors through education, fitness and sports. A 501(c)(3) incorporated in the state of Ohio, the organization provides oversight to the regional games around the state and is responsible for conducting a state games each year.
