We're celebrating February as the month of Love in honor of Valentine's Day with three Murder Mystery Trains, two for dinner and one for lunch.  Read all about the themes and details below.

Put your cowboy hats, cavalry uniforms, boots and chaps on men. And ladies, don those Prairie skirts and apron, bonnets, saloon girl get ups or come with your braids and a feather in your hair. Enjoy our signature "Orange Blossom Chicken" lunch as you interact with the P. Maxwell Productions actors.  Prepare for a murder, western style, and also to name the killer.  Murder mysteries are all comedies, nothing serious about the murder these actors commit. 

Step back to the 1960's and commiserate with familiar characters from "The Rat Pack", or as Vegas so aptly promotes, impersonators of "The-oh-so famous group of guys and gals."  As all murder mysteries on Fillmore & Western Dinner Theaters you will have your choice of a scrumptious dinner to go along with the "over the top acting".  Choose from Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Blackened Pork Chop or a Vegetarian Pasta. There is a full bar available on board, but unlike Vegas, there are no slots or gaming tables or "free libations". Be ready to croon with the crooners and be dazzled by the leggy ladies who will entertain you.  All aboard for fun! 

Ride the vintage trains of Fillmore & Western Railway as you travel through the pristine century-old citrus and avocado groves of the Heritage Valley. Only 20 miles west of Santa Clarita and Six Flags Magic Mountain and 20 miles east of coastal Ventura, Fillmore is situated halfway between Interstate 5 and Highway 101 on State Route 126. The coach cars are from the 1930's and 1940's, powered by pre-1950's era locomotives.  On a beautiful sunny, southern California Saturday opt to sit on the open-air car as you leisurely "ride the rails".  A 1928 parlor car serves as the onboard diner, food and beverage costs are additional.  Getaway from the asphalt and cement of the big cities and bring the family to the "rural oasis" of the Santa Clara River agricultural valley. The train stops in historic downtown Santa Paula and at the Loose Caboose Garden Center and Gift Emporium. This trip was featured on Huell Howser's "California Gold" series on PBS back in 1999 and stations around the state are still re-running it after all this time.
