SANTA SHOPPER TRAIN, DECEMBER 22, Departing at 12:00noon

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 26TH  7:30 PM

One of the most popular train rides of the year is the "North Pole Express", everyone since the Saturday after Thanksgiving has sold out, but we added a 7:30pm departure to return Santa to the North Pole on the day after Christmas.  Call now, seating is limited, and you don't want to miss out on this family favorite.  Santa will stroll down the aisles of the 1930's and 40's coach cars to wish all the children and their families "goodbye" until next year.  We'll stop at the North Pole and let Santa start planning for Christmas 2013.  On the return trip back to town, the elves will entertain passengers by singing Christmas carols, reading a Christmas story and passing out chocolate milk and a Christmas cookie.   

Back on the regular schedule, the Weekend Scenic Excursions will resume their run and will board at 11:30am, depart at 12:00pm noon and return at 4:00pm.  The train will make a 40 minute stop at the Loose Caboose Garden Center and Gift Emporium so passengers can browse and shop the garden art, fountains, pottery, roses and plants.  In addition there is a large variety of local honey, local walnuts and hazelnuts, the highest quality Texas Pecans, many varieties of jerky, jams, jellies along with fresh local fruits and vegetables.  Then, its on to historic downtown Santa Paula for an hour long layover.  Visit one of the three historic museums close to the original Southern Pacific Depot or take a self-guided tour of the beautiful, world-class murals gracing the sides of downtown buildings.  While taking a leisurely ride through the pristine Heritage Valley on the Fillmore & Western Railwy we hope that you will enjoy the century old citrus and avocado orchards, views of the surrounding mountains, crossing the streams and creeks and traveling through the 1902 trestle bridge, seen in many feature films and television series. Also onboard is "The Powhatan", our onboard restaurant.  Food, beverages and onboard purchases are separate from train fare.  Adults: $24   Seniors (60+): $22  Youth (4-12 years): $14  Child (2-3 years):$10  and infants under 2 years old free on lap.    

HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE ABOARD FILLMORE & WESTERN'S ROCKING NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY TRAIN.  Board the train at 7:30pm, depart at 8:00pm and enjoy an elegant dinner while being entertained by "colorful character actors".  You'll be dazzled by famous Hollywood
