THE SANTA TRAIN Sat. Nov. 24th 5pm-9pm
The only non-passenger train Fillmore & Western runs each year is the Santa Train. Santa and his helpers are the only passengers on the Steam Powered Train. They arrive in each community along the Santa Paula Branch Line to welcome the holiday season as Santa meets and greets children and their families, with special favors for the children. Santa also asks children to bring their "wish lists" and an unwrapped toy for less fortunate children.
The Santa Train begins its journey east from the Metrolink Station in Montalvo in East Ventura and is stationed there from 5:00pm-5:20pm. The next stop is at the Northbank pedestrian crossing, at the intersection of Montgomery Avenue and Bristol Road in East Ventura between 5:30 and 6:00pm. The Santa Train will then travel to Alelia Street in Saticoy arriving at 6:10pm and departing at 6:40pm. The train will arrive in Santa Paula at 7:10pm and will depart at 7:40pm, arriving in downtown Fillmore at 8:20pm. There will be a reception for Santa at the Movie Train Cafe, 501 Santa Clara Street, Fillmore at 8:25pm. All times listed for arrival and departure and are approximates.
Sponsors helping in the effort to spread cheer and kick-in the holiday season are the Ventura County Deputy Sheriff's Association, the Fillmore Volunteer Firefighter Foundation, Caloco, Fillmore Rotary, OST and Ventura County Transportation Commission. Helpers from these organizations will collect the unwrapped toys and the Firefighter Foundation and the Sheriff's Association will be distributing the gifts to needy children throughout the valley. We wish a happy holiday season to all and hope that you, your family and friends will come to one of the stops in Ventura County and help us make Christmas a more joyous occasion by donating to the toy drive for other families and in the process welcoming Santa to your neighborhood.

THE NORTH POLE EXPRESS
Nov 24 & 30 thru Dec 26
Selected Wed-Sun 6:00pm & 7:30pm
Welcome aboard the North Pole Express with the first run on Saturday, Nov. 24th at 6:00pm. Families snuggle up in their PJ's as they ride the highly decorated coach and dining cars of the 1930's and 40's on their journey to The North Pole to pick up Santa and bring him back to town. Elves are on every car and they lead the passengers in singing Christmas Carols, they read a Christmas story and pass out chocolate milk and a Christmas cookie. Once Santa climbs onboard, he walks the aisle and greets children and hands out a sweet surprise to each. Once back in the Station at Santa's Village, all disembark the train and wait their turn to sit on Santa's lap, give him their "wish list"and pose for parents to take their annual picture with Santa. See the delight in children's eyes as Santa enters their railcar and feel the joy of watching families create a special memory. |

MURDER MYSTERY DINNER THEATER
Nov. 17th, Dec. 8th & 15th 6:30pm-9:30pm
Whether it's a girls night out after a day of Christmas shopping, date night for Mom and Dad or a Company Holiday Party, the Fillmore & Western Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Train is the ticket of the season. Dine on your choice of Prime Rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Blackened Pork Chop or Vegetarian Pasta entrees with all the trimmings. There is a full bar onboard to accompany the elegant dinner and zany antics of the P. Maxwell Production acting troupe. Laugh til your sides split, and revel in the spirit of the season. On Nov. 17th, "Viva Lost Vegas" is a rousing rendition of the famous Rat Pack that made Lost Wages famous in the 60's. Great theme for "boomers" looking for a ride down memory lane. The Dec. 8th theme is "The Holiday", a seasonal trip on our cruiseship on rails. On Dec. 15th, is the Christmas themed "Bugle Boy Murders of Company C", but don't worry, there is nothing serious about either one. Spoofed to the hilt by hilarious characters that will also belt out a love song or two as well as set the mood for holiday carols. Adults 18 and older only for this great "rail" experience.

If there is a holiday, Fillmore & Western has a themed train for it. We are known as "Home of the Movie Trains" because our company began by acquiring the locomotives, railcars, dining cars and other antique rail equipment when Twentieth Century Fox, MGM and Paramount Studios sold off their "props" from their studio prop inventory. Fillmore & Western trains, tracks and crew have been filmed in more than 400 feature films, television shows, commercial shoots and student films.
We appreciate you taking the time to read "all about us", but please also visit our website www.fwry.com or call us at 805-524-2546 for more information or to make reservations.
Happy Holidays from,
