We're Dying to have
you come aboard!!!!
DEAR RAILFANS AND HALLOWEEN LOVERS

We invite you to step onboard any of our vintage train rides this October to experience the most howling good time of the season.  We cater to the youngest among you to the oldest in the family, there is a train ride experience to delight the child in all of us, or spook the bravest of your group of ghouls.

The editor of the Ventura County Reporter weekly magazine chose Fillmore & Western Railway as the best Halloween themed event in the county, so come see for yourself.  NBC LA website declared that
Fillmore & Western Halloween rides were "Worth the Drive".   Halloween happenings begin this weekend and every other weekend in October, with a few "Frighty", "Saturday" and "Sunday" evening rides that will leave you laughing yourself to death in the haunted aisles of the railcars.

Thank you in advance for daring to ride the "Search for the Headless Horseman" Family Dinner Train or frightfully lurking aboard either "Fright Night" or "Twilight to Transylvania" Adult Murder Mystery Dinner Trains.  Even the daytime "PumpkinLiners" can be an eerie experience as you lose yourself in the hay maze or wander too far into the riverbed on the hayride or just seeing the monstrous faces and costumes of the many children and parents is enough to keep you "up all night" remembering the horror of it all.
Ve velcome you to "Ichabog", our private pumpkin patch. Enter at your own risk, cover your necks, wear garlic and keep one eye out for the train and the other eye closed, just in case you can't believe your eyes.
 Sin     Surely,
The ghouls, goblins, geeks and creepy souls of the Fillmore & Western Railway

Other activities at the patch, (not included in ticket prices, but very minimal cost) include a carousel ride, hayrides, a corn maze and face painting. Our seasoned DJ is onhand all day playing spooky Halloween songs and families are encouraged to dance on the stage to their hearts content. There are also a variety of Halloween Arts and Craft Vendors at the patch.  Inside the Loose Caboose Garden Center there is garden art, koi ponds, fresh produce, antiques, local honey and a large selection of gift items.
