Greenview Knolls Elementary School 
Final festivities at Greenview Knolls FLOW included watching a slide show, presenting mentee certificates, passing out cards to one another that they had made, and celebrating with good food and conversation.

Benjamin Banaker Elementary School
Benjamin Banaker FLOW was busy in this last month.  They organized an end-of-year Food Drive and made flower pots as memory keepsakes. They also had a cook-out for their final party celebration -- mentees helped grill hot-dogs on a disposable grill since weather was not cooperating!

White Marsh Elementary 
FLOW mentors and mentees from White Marsh had the opportunity to go on a field trip to Myrtle Point Beach.  They were able to represent their school to recieve their Green School recertification.

Our great thanks goes out to Amy Goss, our wonderfully able, enthusiastic, and talented intern who did so much for FLOW Mentoring this school year. Amy graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland in May and is off to graduate school at Syracuse University!
 
We will miss her and wish her all the best!!

Site Leaders Evelyn Sweeney and Maggie Giles and their FLOW Group at Leonardtown Elementary School produced a wonderful short video about FLOW Mentoring. In it, the mentors and mentees ask and answer questions about what FLOW means, what it involves, and what they like about weekly sessions.

To apply to become a Mentor please complete and return a FLOW Mentoring Mentor Application and a SMCPS Volunteer Application.
