BROOK BENSON  

     

 

Brooke Benson is a native of Los Angeles who grew up immersed in the Arts. Brooke became involved in activism, and to express herself, she began writing her own form of social commentary and matters of the heart in the form of Spoken Word poetry. Her inspiring lyrics weave a tapestry of human emotion through rhythmic song, words and vivid imagery.

Brooke Produced and Co�hosted "The People's Mic" at Witzend for the last year and a half, Bringing together a diverse group of artists combining World class Music and Poetry. Brooke also has her own line of jewelry blending the earthy with the ethereal, which like her poetry,truly speaks to the heart.  Her line will also be featured at our holiday gathering!

One part singer-songwriter and one part comedienne, Lisa Fishman sings songs on dating, love, and life with her soulful, powerhouse voice and clever lyrics that can touch the heart or tickle the soul.  With a background in musical theater, jazz, folk, rock and cabaret - and often described as 'Carole King meets Bette Midler' - Lisa entertains and inspires with her hybrid of folk/pop/comedy.
