Thank you for a great Christmas season!
| |
Thanks for your help in making in the 2013 Christmas season downtown a success. Despite some snowy days, 1,200 gingerbread houses were created, children visited with Santa, and carriage rides created an old-fashioned feel. Thanks to Hutch Rec for sponsoring the Gingerbread House Decorating Event and to all the volunteers who helped. Thanks for all you did to make it a wonderful Christmas season. It's great to be building good downtown memories for new generations.

Please be a good neighbor when it snows!

Ordinance #2009-34 was passed on December 15, 2010 to make it safer and easier for our customers, visitors and neighbors to do their business in Downtown Hutchinson during the winter. Please do your part and be a good neighbor so that your neighbor will be one too.

| Your Event on the Downtown Hutchinson Website | |
The Downtown Hutchinson website lists events on the home page that are entered on the Hutchinson News Events list. So, when you're doing an event, you only have to put it on the Hutchinson News Events list, tag downtown when prompted, and it will automatically appear on the Downtown Hutchinson website, too.
Begin by entering the information at http://calendar.hutchnews.com/. You will have an opportunity to classify your event, and one of the options is "downtown." Click that box, in addition to any others, and your event will automatically also appear on the Downtown Hutchinson website.
