To say that this has been a long, tough winter is an understatement, especially for those of our guests that live "below the Notch". This year, Old Man Winter has relished the task of making all of New England a snow globe - southern New England in particular. 

 

Coming north to escape winter may seem counterproductive, but it makes sense when you can relax in a cozy cabin, have some fantastic breakfasts and dinners at the Rainbow Grille, and get out in to the fresh air (and we don't mean the kind you get having to shovel several feet of snow out from around your home either!).

In short, March is a beautiful time to come to the north country to get some top notch snowmobiling (the Pittsburg Ridge Runners have done a great job with the snowmobile trails this season) and snowshoeing in before the season is over, and the longer days and higher sun (yes, sun!) make for some spectacular days to enjoy Pittsburg.

Two Handed Casting Clinic at Tall Timber September 19!
 
Join us on September 19 for our Two Handed Casting Clinic, featuring the exceptional instruction of IFFF certified William FlySpoke.

His decades of experience fishing for trout, salmon and stripers and his knowledge  of spey and switch rods will help students begin their journey in casting two handed rods.
