Another day starts for Tall Timber's snowmobilers

Happy 2013 everybody - we hope it's a healthy, happy and eventful New Year for all of our Tall Timber friends. Winter is already in full swing here in New Hampshire's north country, where an excess of snow and cold have meant an earlier start than normal for our snowmobilers. We just had some of the best Christmas / New Years week conditions that we've ever had, and it appears that there's no let up in the weather in the near future. The Pittsburg Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club is going full blast in it's grooming operations, insuring that we'll have flat trails in the weeks ahead.

We also have some excellent showshoeing in Pittsburg, so if you need to drop a few pounds after the holidays, we have plenty of heart pounding trails to explore. We offer several pairs of snowshoes free for our guests to use too, in case you don't have room in the car when packing to visit us. On the reservations front, we have some mid-week availability in January and March (and even a little bit in February), so give us a call if you want to use up some vacation time at Tall Timber. You could even take advantage of our mid-week "Snowmobile Escape" or "Warm & Comfy" Spa Packages in January and March !

"Midweek Snowmobile Escape"
Package New for 2013

Many of our guests have requested a winter package that combines cozy accommodations and great meals at the Rainbow Grille, with the freedom of renting snowmobiles to explore the extensive Pittsburg Ridge Runners snowmobile trail system. We came up with our "Midweek Snowmobile Escape" Package to help our guests that don't get up here very often in winter experience the beauty of an old fashioned winter in northern NH. This year's package will be offered Sunday thru Thursday each week in January and March, excluding the Sunday of the Martin Luther King holiday.

The "Midweek Snowmobile Escape" Package is for two or more midweek night stays only, and includes snowmobile rentals (two single snowmobiles or one double), breakfasts for two and dinners for two at the award winning Rainbow Grille. The Fly Fishing Show in Marlborough, MA the weekend of January 18 - 20. It'll be an opportunity for us to meet new fishing friends, catch up with our old friends, and dispense some invaluable advice on battling trout and salmon on the diverse waters of Pittsburg. There'll be lots of stuff going on at the show - demonstrations, exhibits and instruction, focused on all of the great fishing we have in the Northeast.
Stop by the booth if you're in the area.

pretty deep from all those fish stories from Tom and Jon ...
