We're deep into the month of Love and everyone at Angelina's is having a bittersweet time of it. We're still deep in Dark Chocolate everything, which may be the best reason ever to be in the business of making special products (like a Dark Chocolate body mask!) for our local spas. We're sad to be bidding adieu to some of our original aromas while at the same time, the place is bubbling with excitement as we get ready to introduce some lovely new ones. Read on to learn more..

As much as we truly love all of our divine formulas, there simply isn't space to keep everything we invent. From time to time, we discontinue products to make room for our fresh new creations.

Herb of the Month: Chocolate!
Chocolate for your skin? You bet!
We use the finest Fair Trade cocoa butter, and Certified Organic cocoa powder in all of our Dark Chocolate products.
Chocolate (Theobroma cacao) is very moisturizing and softens the skin, leaving you with a luminous glow. The intoxifying aroma stimulates your "happy feeling" endorphins, which increase your sense of well-being and help you relax.
Chocolate contains over 300 different compounds including:
- Theobromine,
a substance similar to caffeine, which stimulates the circulatory system and produces a slimming effect on the body.

Magnesium, potassium and calcium which have a calming effect, thus reducing stress.

Polyphenols, antioxidants that thwart free radicals which are responsible for aging.

 Ingredients: 1/3 cup raw cacao powder or cocoa powder 1/4 cup of raw honey 2 tablespoons of mashed avocado 3 teaspoons of cornmeal (if you're looking for a great natural exfoliator) Instructions: Simply blend all the above ingredients together until creamy. With clean hands, apply the mask to your face and any other part of your body that you so desire (hands and feet can greatly benefit). Gently massage your mask into your skin, leaving it on for 15 - 20 minutes, and then rinse it off with warm water. |
