Pit Bulls and Pussy Cats? |
|
Is it possible for Germans and Jews to become good friends? Our young people think so.
To them it's like pit bulls and pussy cats.
Pit bulls can be scary. Even the belligerent "kuzpah" cats in Israel run from a pit bull. But not Tyson. Our neighbor's pit grew up in a home with cats and kittens. And that environment changed his instincts. So even though the wild cats flee when Tyson strolls down the street they don't understand that he is just looking for a play mate.

arning to overcome the hatred, anger and fear. Those who once were enemies are now bonding together in friendship, love and compassion. Let us continue to encourage our German and Jewish youth to bond together early creating a whole new "instinct" towards one another ensuring a safer, better future for them.
Dima (pictured below on the right) and Sarah have just returned from leading the 2012 Yad b'Yad in Stuttgart and are now moving into their new work as Youth Leaders for Beit Immanuel. You can help build a better future for our children by supporting Dima and Sarah. We are still short another $6000 for their work in the congregation. Would you consider making an investment in Israel's future by standing with our youth? |
