Helping the poor

We continue to help needy  families in cooperation with the Municipality. Some of these families are so poor that they do not even have enough food for their children. We are distributing food coupons as needed.

But some of the families needs go far beyond food. They are desperate and lonely and in need of someone who will comfort them, hold their hand or just listen.

They are so grateful that we come to visit them. They have no one else.
Visiting prisoners?

The lives of a number of prisons we have visited have turned around. It is not easy to reach out to criminals. You feel like they deserve what they are getting and we shouldn't bother helping them.

That's the surprising thing about the Messiah. He cares when nobody else  does. It was a scandal back then when Yeshua hung around with traitors, thieves and prostitutes and saw their lives changed.

It's the same today. Nobody really believes these people are worth the effort. Until you see with your own eyes a hardened criminal crying to forgive him for all the pain he caused and asking for a chance to change.

God is able to do that.
Healing souls

We continue to conduct seminars on "Ancient Paths" a bible based course helping people find significance.

Many hearts are being healing from past trauma and deep inner release experienced.

Such a blessing to see people receive help enabled to carry on with a productive life.

I don't think so...
Looking to God for help

Not the Messianic Jewish children of Israel. By any standard they are a unique phenomenon in this generation.

What's special?

Our children are growing up in a generation standing for the promises of God in the face of war, terror, rejection and hatred. Standing alone but never losing hope. They are nurtured in families praying through years of military service, financial needs, physical, social and national crisis, and they see God answer. Our children are eyewitnesses to God's daily faithfulness, provision, and protection.

In this crucible of faith, persecution, conflict and hope families are standing together for the right to be followers of our Messiah Yeshua in our own land. Together we follow the establishment of Messianic Jewish fellowships over the last 20 years in places where there has been no testimony to Yeshua in 2,000 years.

This generation of Messianic children watch their parents give up everything for the sake of God's story - his gift of forgiveness. They see us hated and despised by our own people enduring so that Israel might know the truth about Messiah. Together we have watched as traditional Jewish attitudes towards Yeshua are challenged and transformed.

Ready to go...

As I look at this generation of Messianic children in Israel it fills me with hope seeing their love for the heritage of our fathers, their desire to please God and their stubborn commitment to Israel. Watching them ready themselves to serve in the Israeli army so full of faith and confidence prepared to give their lives for God and for our nation inspires.

Serving our kids

It continues to be our greatest joy at Beit Immanuel to serve many Messianic children. As times are changing so we must also prepare ourselves to serve this new generation of youth. During these days our congregation is in the process of developing a ministry to better support our 14 to 16 year-olds. We want to do everything we can to help them carry on the great heritage they received from their parents - and go even further telling our people the story of God's unsearchable love for Israel.

Our goal is to inspire and instruct them to live as mature adults in families, with friends and in society, to help them excel as students through high school and pursue higher education after military service, to guide them in choosing meaningful professions where they can serve society and accompany them in finding suitable mates on way to raising godly families of their own.

We are also in the process of recruiting an excellent young Israeli couple to serve with us as youth leaders for Beit Immanuel.

Please pray with us that God will help us be faithful in serving this unique generation. Not a simple task in this day and age but perhaps none more worthy.

I can think of no better way of investing in the future of our people Israel.

We would love to hear from you........
