Arts and Crafts Section Limited to 75 Quality Exhibitors...
This will be the twenty-fifth year the City of Bostwick has sponsored The Cotton Gin Festival to raise money for the continuing restoration of the Susie Agnes Hotel.
The hotel was built in 1902 by the founder of Bostwick, John Bostwick, Sr. Bostwick is a small farming town with a rare operating cotton gin located in Morgan County on Highway 83 between Madison and Monroe.
There will be wagons pulled by tractors to shuttle people downtown to the festival. Annual attendance has grown over the years to nearly 7,000.
The Cotton Gin Festival features a Parade with over 200 tractors both antique and modern, a 5K Run, Civil War Re-enactors, 75 Arts and Crafts Exhibitors, Entertainment, Selected Food Vendors and the rare opportunity to tour the famous Bostwick Cotton Gin while in full operation.
"We are always looking for quality craft makers and artists with unique work and products," says Angie Howard, Festival Director.
