Spring is here! I walked outside today enjoying the weather and seeing tiny shoots of green emerging from the ground; it reminds me that God takes dead, cold things and brings life.  Over the next week we will celebrate real life - Jesus' triumph over death and the victory it wins us.

I wanted to give you a schedule of Holy Week and Easter, so you know what is planned here at Calvary:

• Palm Sunday (This Sunday): We will celebrate with kids leading us in worship and I will be teaching from Mark 11. This is a great opportunity to invite family members and friends to see 'our' kids perform. Having children as a part of our worship is always special. It is going to be an exciting Sunday.  


• Good Friday (4/18): We will celebrate communion together, hear God's word, and remember what Jesus has done for us. We have some special things planned, you won't want to miss it. This year we are having one service at 7 p.m., so come a few minutes early for a good seat.  


• Saturday Easter Egg Hunt (4/19): Join the KidsLife program at 10 a.m. for our annual Easter Celebration. Families, join us for an egg hunt inside the church and refreshments afterwards. This free event is open to the community, so be sure to invite your friends and neighbors for a fun morning.  


• Easter Sunday (4/20): This year's Easter service is called NEUE. It is going to be an amazing time together celebrating the resurrection. We will have our normal three service times (8 a.m., 930 a.m., and 11 a.m.). All the services will be identical. I can't wait for you to experience this service; we have been working on it for months. Please, invite family, friends, neighbors and anyone who would benefit from celebrating His resurrection.
