Vol. 10, Issue 10
Listening to Sermons Online
Good afternoon, everyone! I have some news that I'd like to share. Quite a few of you have been wondering what's been going on with our online sermon access. Long story short: Our provider switched over to a new server and the process took much, much longer than they'd anticipated.

The switch has finally been made, however, and our sermons are now all back online. (I'm working on throwing up the past couple of Sundays, plush Ash Wednesday, online today and tomorrow, so look for those later.)

So, why the switch? The switch was made so that it is now much more user-friendly for churches to upload their sermons and it's much more user-friendly for YOU to download/listen to sermons. All sermons are now mobile-friendly, meaning all of those of you with iPhones and iPads - who didn't have Flash - can now navigate and listen to all of the sermons we have online.

Go ahead and give it a spin and let me know what you think: http://calvaryop.sermoncampus.info.

If you've already set up your phone or a computer with a RSS feed for listening to podcasts, here's the link you'll want to use: http://calvaryop.sermoncampus.info/rss/main. (If what I've just said is very foreign to you, just ignore this paragraph.)

If there are any problems, let me know.
Shoot me an email at matta@calvaryop.org. I'm also working on having our sermons uploaded and accessible through iTunes. I'll let you guys know when that happens.

Have a great weekend everyone!

One Thing: A Church-Wide Book Study

Join us in reading a book together as a church

We are reading together as a church One Thing: Developing a Passion for the Beauty of God by Sam Storms.

The goal of our creation was not simply that we might be happy but happy in appreciating God's own glory. Not in reviewing our own accomplishments or in the enjoyment of our own sensual appetites. Not in the development of a healthy self-esteem or in the acquisition of a four-bedroom home with a three-car garage. We were made to glorify God and enjoy him forever. Nothing is more important than understanding this truth.

You are invited to get the book and read with us.

For the week of March 16, please read Chapters 3 & 4.

Questions for Thought / Discussion for Chapter 3 & 4

1)What is beauty?

2)In what ways is God beautiful?

3)Does experiencing God's beauty change us? Have you experienced this? How?

4)Do you believe that God is sovereign over everything?

5)What is worship?

6)For you, what is something about God that causes your heart to break out in worship?

7)As you read chapter 4, in what new ways does it beckon you to worship?

Coffee Break: Discover Easter
Women of all ages are invited to join our new study which will take us right into Easter. There's more to Easter than bunny rabbits and colored eggs. The real story of Easter is part of the world's most amazing love story. God loves us so much that he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to set things right again in this broken world. Jesus saved us by paying for our sin through his death on the cross and rising again in victory over death, giving hope and the promise of new life forever for all who believe!

Coffee Break is held on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Childcare is available. For more information, contact Jenny at coffeebreak
Men's Barnabas Group
We will be beginning a new book study by Max Lucado entitled You'll Get Through This. Do you believe that God is still in the business of redeeming the broken? He was then, He is still.

All men are welcome to join us on Thursday mornings at 7 a.m. in room #204. Light refreshments and coffee are served. Contact John Brooks at brooksjnb@att.net for more information.
Calling All Knitters and Crocheters!
Tiny Town passes out handmade baby blankets to all of our newborns. We have welcomed many little ones to our congregation in the past two years alone and we have a few due this Spring! Our baby blanket supply is dwindling. We would appreciate any handmade donations in either pink, blue, or neutral colors.

Blessings for sharing your talent to our newest additions at Calvary!
Revelation is Relevant Bible Study
This verse-by-verse study of the Revelation of John will help you experience the awesome spiritual power that resides in this final book of the Bible. Rev. 1:3.

Show up on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in room 241 OR Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. in room 252 to receive this blessing from God! Questions? Contact Joe Dampf
