Marriage Seminar THIS Saturday
| | I just heard from ONE, our marriage ministry here at Calvary. They are on their way to pick up the speakers for the marriage seminar that we'll be having this weekend! Saturday, January 25 at 9 a.m. to be exact.
Speakers Bill and Pam Farrel have 25 years of experience in church ministry and have written numerous books and spoken at marriage conferences around the globe. They have put together a great, funny and entertaining conference that will help enrich the relationship of couples of all "ages," from engaged to newlyweds to those who have been married for what seems to be forever!
This conference is strictly just for you and your spouse / fiancee. What I mean by this is that there is no "group talk" or breaking up into groups. If you are concerned about keeping your relationship private, we understand! During discussion times, you will be talking just to your spouse / fiancee.
We are excited to announce that many couples have signed up, but there's still room for plenty more, so if you've been on the fence about coming, now is the time to sign up!
You can get more information about the event by clicking on the Marriage Seminar graphic below. You can also get a preview of what the conference will be like by clicking here.
We hope to see you this weekend!

Year-End Giving Tax Document
| |
Need your 2013 giving tax papers? It's online this year!
Calvary Church uses a database program called ACS to maintain our records for members and visitors. This stores information on individuals and families such as name, address, phone number, email address and your record of giving. We are pleased to announce that this year we are making your 2013 giving record available online. You will able to review your 2013 giving and save and print out a year-end tax record copy for your records.
Have no idea what ACS is or how to access it? No worries. We've prepared an instructable for you. Grab it here.
If you are unable to print out your giving statement, please notify the church office or Executive Administrator Rich Schuler and our Financial Deacons will mail you a hard copy of your giving. Any questions, please contact the church office at 708.429.2200 or info@calvaryop.org.

Directory Photos
| |
As mentioned above, Calvary Church uses a database program called ACS to maintain our records for members and visitors. This program also has room for all of us to upload photos of our families to help all of us to get to know each other! Think of it as a virtual directory of Calvary Church, kinda like Facebook, but just for our church.
During the month of February we will be taking pictures of individuals and families to add to our online directory. With a new pastor and new members joining, this is a way of connecting a name to a face. We hope you will stop by and get your picture taken.
If you don't want to have your picture taken, you can easily upload your own pictures. An instructable for that will be coming soon.
Watch this space for more details!
