Over the last several weeks I've had the opportunity to think about writing this newsletter numerous times, and found it difficult to focus on just one thing to write about. I'm thankful for all the people in my life, the experiences I've had, the opportunities that present themselves, and the chance to get up this morning; that in itself is a gift.

Be thankful this Thanksgiving if you have something in your refrigerator to eat, if you receive a phone call from someone you like, love or cares about you, and knowing that you have today. So many have been jolted by life's realities that for many, true thanks is in having electric, heat and physical safety. Having a job, being able to get there and work once you do, is a real blessing, that I hope we all more fully appreciate after all that happened in the past few weeks. 

Realizing in the midst of the chaos that as long as we get up we have another chance to pick up the pieces, another day to make peace, or the opportunity to share a piece of what we have to help someone who needs it. I hope you will take a moment to look around at all the small but amazing miracles that happen in life daily.

Our hearts go out to all of you who have lost so much in the last few weeks with all the storms in the Northeast, the West Coast and around the country. May you find comfort in the midst of the chaos. You are in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!
