Renditions, An Art Space will be presenting Graceful Exits for the July exhibit in the main gallery. The theme to revolves around the world of terrestrial decomposers- including the organisms they interact with and affect. This refers to the ways in which life forms are broken down and disposed of, and the ways in which insects and other organisms interact with the soil, which involves frequent exits from human realms of perception. Featured organisms would include insects, fungi, slime molds, and maybe more. This show includes paintings, illustrations, photographs, and some models of ant colonies. Artists to be featured include Dr. Walter Tschinkel, Angela Mele, and other PhD and graduate students from the biology department at FSU. First Friday opening with reception on July 12, 2013.
