| Happy New Year!!! Come enjoy First Friday at Railroad Square Art Park...every First Friday from 6pm to 9pm. There are lots of open artist studios, awesome stores, Tasty Eats Beer Garden, food trucks, music and fun. To see current events listings please join our Facebook Page and visit our website.
Be sure to circle the Square! "New York Times" Style section calls First Friday at Railroad Square one of the Top Ten Free places to visit in Florida.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FIRST FRIDAY VISITORS: If possible, please park outside of Railroad Square (use lots on Railroad Ave and FAMU Way) and walk in, or arrive EARLY to access the few available parking spaces within the Park. And be aware there is lots of construction in the area but we are open and wanting for you to visit!!!

The Other Side Vintage has added 7 new booth spaces and expanded the front gallery in the past 2 months. We are open 7 days a week in 2013. New hours are Sunday-Monday 12noon-5pm and Tuesday-Saturday 11am-6pm. Our music lineup for First Friday January 4th includes Steven Glazer and his guitar. Please check our Facebook page under events for more information and to see who is the featured artist of the month. We have furniture, vintage &trendy clothing for guys and gals, costumes for photo shoots, plays andmovies, home decor, artwork, accessories, an LP collection over 20,000, collectibles and what nots. We also have a rental program for plays, theater, fashion shows,and photographers. We buy and sell so send us your photos of items you would like to sell. Jan 4: The New Year opens with three solo exhibition:
Not Wilderness, an exhibit of paintings and artist book by Baltimore based artist Marty Weishaar; Winter Vacation, fab new paintings by Thomasville artist John Gleason; The Leaners, paintings and constructions by local artist Ben Bivins in the Nan Boynton Gallery.
Exhibits run Jan 4-27, Thur - Sun, 1-5pm
Sat, Jan 19, 621 CABARET at the Warehouse on Gaines St., featuring live performances from local artists and other beloved troublemakers. $10, doors open 7:30, event starts at 8pm
Thurs, Jan 24, 5-7pm, Art Happy Hour (artists will be present for this!)

| BALI HI is excited to feature the beautiful and intricate mosaic art of Bob Rubanowice. His stained glass art is distinctively exquisite. We are proud to have on display several of his dichroic glass masks.
We will continue to exhibit the incredibly detailed original art of Cindy Sbrissa. Her use of vibrant colors and textures as well as the many tiny, hand-cut individual pieces has become her trademark. Also on display will be the "Birds Of A Feather", flamingo watercolors by Key West artists.
Also on display is art & handcrafted jewelry by local artists. Hours: 6pm - 9pm on 1st Friday and 1-5:00 p.m. on every 3rd Saturday. Also open by appointment. 619 Industrial Drive, Railroad Square Art Park. 850/ 766-1257.

After the Fox studio in Railroad Square is accepting on a very limited basis your treasures that need some expert restoration. We are currently accepting cane seat restorations and some table top finish restorations. We are happy to announce that After the Fox has designed several prototype art, keepsake, and collectable, hand made wooden boxes that we will have available for sale this spring and summer.

Arabian Flair Bellydance - Third Saturday Middle Eastern Music Open Jam 1033 Commercial Drive in Railroad Square January 19th 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Arabian Flair will be holding an Open Jam for musicians interested in playing and learning about Middle Eastern Music. Bring your instrument, a chair if you'd like, any notes or sheet music you'd like to work on, and join in the jam. Sorry this is not a drum circle. If you don't play, no problem! Come by and see what we have to offer in Middle Eastern Drumming Classes. There will be time for discussion and questions. Open Enrollment at Arabian Flair - $10 per class or $30 per month
Basic Drumming - Mondays 6:30pm Join us for Basic Middle Eastern Drumming. The class focuses on drumming for bellydancers, Egyptian styling, and technique. Drums are available for class use. Students who decide on regular study will want to purchase their own drum.
Basic Bellydance - Tuesdays 6:00pm & Wednesdays 5:30pm Bellydance is an ancient and beautiful folk dance. Our basics class focuses on learning to dance, proper technique, and preparation learning choreography.

Souper Saturday is happening on January 19th from 1pm-5pm ! Many of the shops and studios of Railroad Square will prepare homemade soup of many varieties that you can taste for making a canned goods or money donations to The Manna on Meridian Food Bank.
