You are invited to the NARIGC January Membership Meeting!

January Membership Meeting:  Small Businesses in Illinois
Tuesday, January 14, 2014
Holiday Inn, 1000 Busse Rd., Elk Grove Village
Roundtable/Networking: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Dinner/Program: 6:30 p.m.

'Tis the season for New Year's Resolutions, so make the resolution to attend the NARIGC January Membership Meeting on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, and improve your business!

Our after-dinner speaker will be Elliot Richardson.  Elliot Richardson is the CEO of the Small Business Advocacy Council, an organization dedicated to empowering the small business community and advocating on behalf of small businesses and entrepreneurs. Elliot will assess the economic conditions for small business owners in the remodeling industry and discuss ways that NARI members can leverage the power of critical mass to impact public policy. Topics of discussion will include health insurance options for the small business community and lowering excessive fees that hurt small businesses.

Elliot will also be conducting the Roundtable at 5:30.  The SBAC works hard in Springfield to benefit small businesses in Illinois.  Elliot would like to update you on pending legislation that may effect your businesses as well as get input from NARIGC members on what topics effect them!  During the roundtable, he will cover:

  • Explore the most pressing legislative issues facing NARIGC businesses in Illinois;
  • Discuss how the SBAC can work in Springfield to improve the economic environment for the remodeling industry;
  • Get feedback on developing an economic development plan that will benefit all businesses and communities in Illinois.

I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!

Sincerely,

Mimi Altman
