The remodeling industry and NARI member companies have undergone significant changes and face continuing challenges as a result of the recession.  NARI 2020, less than seven years away, is an envisioned future.  In 2020, how will NARI National and its chapters become more relevant to the changing business needs and demands of its members?  In 2020, how can NARI member companies be better equipped and informed to succeed into this future?  This event examines the challenges faced by the association as well as its members.  With limited complimentary registration of 150, NARI Chapter delegates and leaders, as well as NARI members, are invited to participate in this event and join this discussion.

Learning Objectives:

  • To foster common understanding of NARI 2020 as a goal and envisioned future
  • To better understand the business needs and challenges of today's remodelers
  • To educate members and chapters about the value of a strong government affairs program in a federated organization like NARI

Chapter delegates and leaders will be assigned to roundtables for strategic discussion.  Given what we know about trends in associations, given what we know about the challenges and increasing demands facing remodelers, how can NARI (at both chapter and national levels) remain valuable and relevant to members?  How will we have to change to thrive in NARI 2020? As a first assignment, participants will elect a scribe and a spokesperson from each table.  Specific questions will be developed for this exercise.
